You have built a life that looks successful. So why doesn't it feel like yours?

You're professional, capable, and put together. On paper, everything looks exactly like it should. But privately? You're exhausted from keeping up the performance — and somewhere underneath all of it, you're wondering who you actually are when no one needs anything from you.

You don't have to keep outrunning this feeling. You just have to be ready to face it.

You got the life. You just didn't expect it to feel like this.

You wake up on a Monday and feel a heaviness you can't explain — not because anything is wrong, but because nothing is wrong and it still feels this way. You get dressed, show up, perform. You say yes when you mean no. You smile when someone congratulates you on something that felt completely hollow on the inside. You go home, exhale, and wonder why you feel more like a stranger in your own life every day.

You've caught yourself in the mirror lately and not quite recognized the person looking back. Not because of how you look — but because somewhere between building this life and maintaining it, you lost track of who you actually are underneath it all.

You tell yourself you should be grateful. You tell yourself everyone feels this way. You tell yourself you just need to push through — that things will feel different when work slows down, when you get through this season, when life finally gives you a moment to breathe. But the moment comes. And you still feel it.

And you haven't told anyone. Not really. Because how do you explain that you have a good life and it still doesn't feel like yours? Because you're the one who handles things. The one who holds it together. Falling apart — even privately — isn't something you do.

But you're here. And that means some part of you knows that pushing through isn't working anymore.

That part is right. And this is exactly the work.

Something in you already knows it’s time. Follow that.

The Transition Within Workbook

Not sure you're ready for therapy yet?
Start here!

The Transition Within is for the woman who knows something is off but isn't quite ready to say it out loud to someone else yet. It's a private, honest space to start asking the questions you've been avoiding — about who you are underneath the roles, what you actually want beyond the expectations, and what it would feel like to finally stop performing and start living. No right answers. No timeline. Just you, some questions that actually matter, and the beginning of something real.

TWO WAYS TO WORK TOGETHER

SERVICES

I offer two ways to do this work — both designed for the professional woman who is ready to stop living on the surface of herself.

Individual Therapy

For Women in VA, SC, & MD

Therapy for women navigating identity questions, self-discovery, and the exhaustion of performing a version of themselves that no longer fits. We use Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy,  Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Strength-Based approaches in sessions that are honest, private, and built entirely around you.

Coaching

For Women Everywhere Else

Coaching for women navigating identity questions, self-discovery, and the exhaustion of performing a version of themselves that no longer fits. Goal-oriented, forward-focused support for the woman who knows something needs to change and wants a thinking partner to help her get clear, get moving, and build a life that actually feels like hers.

THE SHIFT

Blog

Honest writing for the woman who is tired of surface-level advice.

The Shift is where I write about the real stuff — identity, self-discovery, the pressure to perform, and what it actually looks like to build a life that feels like yours. No toxic positivity, no "just believe in yourself." Just honest, practical writing for women who are ready to do the real work

REAL RESULTS:

"You are a wonderful therapist. I am thankful for our work together."

a former client

Rhaea Goff, LCSW, Certified Purpose Clarity Coach

hello!

I'm Rhaea, a licensed therapist and certified coach.

I specialize in identity and self-discovery work with professional women between 25 and 45. I work with women who are high-functioning, self-aware, and quietly running on empty — women who have spent so long becoming who everyone needed that they've genuinely lost the thread back to themselves.

My approach is direct, warm, and completely judgment-free. I'm not here to fix you. I'm here to help you find out who's already there — underneath everything you've been performing.

This work changed my own life. I built this practice because I believe it can change yours.
